Niobium forms stable NbC to prevent chromium depletion and intergranular corrosion.
347H=higher carbon content (0.04~0.10%) to enhance creep strength.

Performance

Excellent intergranular corrosion resistance in the welded state.
347H: Higher high-temperature tensile and creep fracture strength than 347/321.
Good resistance to polysulfide acid stress corrosion cracking (SCC).
Operating temperature range: -196 ℃ to about 800 ℃ (continuous).

Applications

Boiler superheater and reheater tubes (347H is preferred for high-pressure units).
Petrochemical refinery pipelines and heat exchangers (hydrocracking, catalytic reforming).
Aviation exhaust manifolds and expansion joints.
High temperature chemical equipment that requires welding.
